Beauty basics, balms and bliss

Exciting news, I’m going to be a Neals Yard Remedies consultant! Find me here...https://uk.nyrorganic.com/shop/francescaoddie

I sailed through my teenage years with fantastic skin, however as everything about me is ‘late’ I suffered with teenage acne throughout my 20s.  When I reached 27 I decided that something HAD TO BE DONE.

I ‘Googled’ and researched natural ways to get rid of acne and discovered a few posts about olive oil and lemon.  My skin was dry, sore, prone to breakouts and was quietly telling me STAY AWAY FROM THE CREAMS. I tried this oil combo and instantly my skin was soothed… but then flared up again a few days later.  The idea of using an oil stuck with me, so I tried some BioOil. I had allergy tests and discovered that I am allergic to SPF and went on a mission to find some potions.

One sunny Saturday morning in Feb 2012 I headed to Covent Garden to question all the sales assistants in the skincare and makeup departments.  In Melvita I told the ladies that I had tried BioOil and they were horrified because it contains paraffin and blocks your pores.   I was presented with a combination of Lavender, Apricot, Almond and Bergamot oils and told that these would rebalance my skin.

I tried Neal’s Yard products and was given an array of cleansers, toners and moisturisers to test. One very knowledgeable lady asked me my star sign and told me I was a very “hot” person (a fire sign) and needed cooling down! The lady told me I should stop with hot yoga and try standard yoga.  She gave me natural creams and moisturisers to try, some beauty oil to try and added Lavender oil to my moisturiser (due to its natural antiseptic properties.)

Within two days my skin was no longer angry, within a week I had no spots to speak of. I was GLOWING.  The beauty oil made my hair shine and my nails stopped breaking. Revolutionary!  Since then I’ve told all my friends and insisted they try Wild Rose Beauty Balm and drink the Beauty Oil!

As I love learning and have been searching for a way to raise money for charity I am going to attend charity events and donate 10% of the price of all products to selected charities. https://uk.nyrorganic.com/shop/francescaoddie - if you want to do the same, or have a show for me to attend in London… let me know!

I think I’m going to be very busy for the next year with all the astrology, aromatherapy and asanas!

I’ll keep track on here.

GRAZIE,

Frank
