Chiron and The Path to Healing
April was a Sun, Jupiter & Chiron ARIES VENTURE into healing & increased self-awareness. This has possibly involved some insights into why you've been rejected, dismissed and undervalued in the past. Or perhaps it has been a celebration of all you've learned? 💫

Chiron in Aries is pronounced at the moment and Chiron is connected with any fundamental shame about your existence. Where you consciously or unconsciously apologise for getting in the way and are treated like you're a burden or a fool.
I'm talking about imposter syndrome but not at work, this is the imposter who doesn't know how to not pretend in day to day life.
Chiron is the wounded healer.
Aries is the sign associated with self.
With Chiron in Aries there is pain associated in being you.
A rejection that has taken place through no fault of your own, but because of who you are.
Why are people bullied? Many of the themes suggested in that link can be seen and understood in Chiron, a disabled centaur who was a lonely, spiritual, genius living alone in a cave.
In myth, Chiron was rejected because his father (Cronus AKA Saturn) had a fling with a nymph called Philyra. To keep this a secret from his wife, Rhea, he transformed himself into a horse during the lovemaking act. 🙃 This didn't end well for Philyra because the child they conceived ended up being half man, half horse; the centaur Chiron.
Philyra rejected Chiron because she considered him a monstrosity, but he was rescued by Apollo and was taught the healing arts. He became a master, teacher and mentor. Many of the greats were sent to be educated by him. (Achillies studied with Chiron, you might like to read Madeline Miller's Book, The Song of Achillies as it's a mega book and gives some beautiful insights into who Chiron is.)
Fast-forward an indeterminate amount of time and Hercules went to visit his old friend Chiron after slaying the Hydra and accidentally grazed Chiron with an arrow that was covered in the Hydra's poison. This already wounded immortal (son of a God) healer was permanently wounded again and could not fix himself.
Chiron never deserved his rejection, nor the pain. There's no neat explanation as to why Chiron suffers. His initial rejection was his parent's issue and was no fault of his own. The hidden issues of parents that emerge in their children and can be the root of Chiron's ancestral lessons.
Chiron's life gained meaning, beauty and purpose in his mentoring of others. His kind nature and intelligence. The way he was able to accept everyone and everything as they are and teach them to heal means he is considered one of the greatest.
Recently, Jupiter in Aries conjunct Chiron has blown up this theme in the collective consciousness.
Jupiter and Chiron are both sons of Saturn and all 3 archetypes teach us so much. These are three VERY different teachers, but teachers they are!
Jupiter is everyone's favourite teacher who tells inspiring and funny stories then brings chocolate on the last day of term.
Saturn is the teacher everyone hates because they set too much homework and have zero bants. However, is the teacher that gets the best results and will change the life of a waster who everyone else has given up on into a life of meaning and substance.
Chiron is the wise old soul who gives a special talk in assembly one morning and totally changes the way you think about things. Anyone who goes to study with Chiron seeks depth, mystery and natural healing.
