Dearest Friend

As I write the eclipse is taking place, my head aches, the lights are dim, my eyes are sore, one with a twitch and the other with a stye! It’s all going well!

Why am I writing?

I was just meditating but all I want to do is write. So the question is; do I write my diary or do I write to you?

For me it’s the same thing because I’ve been writing to you in my diary for the past 22 years. So whether I’m holding my pen or typing, it makes no difference.

Research (see Gauquelin) shows that people with the Moon in the 12th… actually, let me see if I can find something on the internet to copy and paste;

“Michel Gauquelin, founder of Neo-Astrology, wanted to take a serious, scientific look at the effects of the heavenly bodies on human behaviour. This meant abandoning the traditional 12 houses. Instead, for statistical purposes, he divided the chart into 36 sectors; sectors which represented nothing but pieces of sky.
To his amazement, he found that some, not all, of these sectors were particularly powerful – these are known as Plus Zones. Gauquelin found that:

  • Scientists/physicians were often born with Saturn in a Plus Zone.
  • Sports champions were often born when Mars was in a Plus Zone.
  • Actors were often born when Jupiter was in a Plus Zone.
  • Writers were often born with the Moon in a Plus Zone.

The fascinating thing about Plus Zones is that they are all grouped around the astrological angles – the Ascendant and Midheaven (the most powerful zones) and the Descendant and IC (slightly weaker, but still strong). It seemed that the ancients were right to place emphasis on the Four Pillars of the Sky. However, their judgement was slightly off.”

Here’s the article I took it from:

I was born with the Moon in one of these “plus zones.”

And what to say?

An eclipse to any planet is going to make the themes associated with it more heightened and sensitive.

My FEELINGS, my bodily needs, my home, relationships with women, themes of nurturance… these are the themes of right now.

When I look at 2002 the first thing that springs to mind is my 18th birthday two weeks later.

There’s no point talking about these diaries and not reading them… I’m going in! (They are kept under my bed in fire proof bags!)

Tuesday the 19th of November 2002

Monday the 9th of December 2002

“Just reading back on diary. A practiced writer gets their subconscious on the paper as they write with such ease.”

I don’t know if that’s a quote or 18 year old me commenting on 17 year old me me – but it’s more 12th house moon shiz.

Well I can honestly say that was the best move I could’ve made. That diary, that time in my life, the things I have just read ?  the best medicine.

I’m not going to share it all here – but I’ll share more in the Eclipse Season event Izzy and I are running.

A SLOW, EASY, GENTLE walk through eclipses to facilitate rest, listening, calm, insight, friendship and togetherness as the eclipses run wild.

I have so many more insights based on what I just read! We are just rolling with this event intuitively but the synchronicities form the universe are giving us a big NOD that this is a good move!

The Zoom link I auto generated ends in 1111!

We need to rest, we need to trust ourselves, we need community we and I 100% will not be spending the 4th of December like I did in 2002. LEARNING FROM PAST CYCLES IS WHERE IT’S AT!

The world is becoming increasingly INSANE and I’m very upset about it. I’m appalled… and potentially losing my head over it!

What’s the solution?

Leading by example, reject tyranny outright, stand strong even when everyone else is losing their marbles.

This eclipse was conjunct Algol – I wrote about this on instagram here.

“Algol is one of the 15 Behenian Fixed Stars. Its image is a human head cut off at the neck. It gives success to petitions, makes the wearer bold and magnanimous, preserves the body, protects against witchcraft, and turns evil and spells back upon those who work them. Rules diamond, black hellebore, and mugwort.”

*Izzy has some Mugwort magic planned for The Eclipse Season Evolution!

People with planets conjunct Algol may “die by beheading” ? It’s themes are “losing your head” by drinking too much, war, anger, violent death etc!

For more on Algol, this is an excellent blog considering all perspectives.

I’m just following the thread and have read this;

Fixed star Capulus (close to Algol) is of the nature of Mars and Mercury (high enterprise, combative, destructive.) It causes blindness or defective eyesight.

That’s my 11.11 hint (time of writing) to send this! ? ?
When I meditated the question of why my eyes are so sore passed through my mind. Because I’m LOOKING WITH MY EYES TOO MUCH. I need to look with my third eye. I need to see the unseen  and look inside.

Close your eyes with me this eclipse season.

Join the evolution.

If you can keep your head when all about you
 Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
 But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
 Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
 And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
 If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
 And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
 Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
 And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
 And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
 And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
 To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
 Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
 Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
 If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
 With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
 And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

Rudyard Kipling, If

“Yes, we know that Algol often does show up in disastrous accidents with death as their climax, but we must remember that our too-common state of disbelief in life beyond the one event since birth that is the lot of all of us. We fear because we do not believe, and we fear to overcome our fear, lest to be fearless of death should somehow cause us to love mortal life the less.

As a practicing astrological consultant, however, the present author has found that one or both of these stars prominent, even though ‘afflicted’, on one’s horoscope makes for an excellent counsellor to others in the time of bereavement, with a special gift for bring out the brighter spiritual significance of Death as the transition to Greater Life.”
